Legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Epitome X, Inc., which operates XDocks, collects, uses, and protects information through xdocks.com and the Dockmaster QuickBooks connection.
Effective September 19, 2026
Information we collect
When you submit a service request or apply to join the warehouse network, we collect the contact, company, facility, shipment, and service details that you provide. We also receive ordinary technical records such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and server logs when you use the website.
If an authorized Epitome X administrator connects QuickBooks, the Dockmaster integration may process company information and accounting records needed for its approved workflows. Those records can include customers, vendors, products and services, accounts, invoices, payments, bills, bill payments, and related identifiers. The connection also requires authorization credentials issued by Intuit.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to service requests and coordinate warehouse work.
- Review and manage warehouse partners.
- Prepare, reconcile, and review business accounting records.
- Send operational messages requested by you or needed to provide a service.
- Protect the website and connected systems from misuse.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping duties.
How we share information
We share information with warehouse and service providers when they need it to review or perform requested work. We also use vendors that provide hosting, database, email, security, and accounting services. Each vendor receives only the information needed for its work.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or property, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets. We do not sell personal information.
QuickBooks authorization
Intuit controls the QuickBooks authorization process. Epitome X stores the credentials needed to maintain an approved connection and limits access to authorized operators. You can revoke the connection from your QuickBooks connected-app settings or follow the instructions on our disconnect page.
Retention and security
We retain business records for as long as needed to provide services and meet accounting, legal, tax, and operational requirements. We retain connection credentials only while they are needed for an authorized integration. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to limit unauthorized access, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You may also ask us to disconnect QuickBooks and remove stored connection credentials. Send requests to jeremy@xdocks.com.
Children
XDocks provides business services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal duties change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect.
